Violet Cry, originally from North West England are a duo sharing original music for our times, reviewed as “soulful, mesmerising and melodic”. Singer/songwriter Diane Wye brings her long and varied career in dance, theatre and music to reflect familiar shared themes.
Guitarist and composer Ian Wilson is a multi talented instrumentalist who has worked professionally with a number of bands throughout the UK. Using guitar and keyboards, Ian creates an atmospheric journey to complement Diane’s thought provoking lyrics that leaves you dreaming about the important moments in life.
They have recently released their debut album ‘All Between Walls’, that can be found on Spotify, YouTube and iTunes. Their live performances and radio air play have lead to repeated invites back to venues.
